Herbal Intensive

Joyce, our park director is now offering an "herbal intensive workshops" at McArthur Park.

Beginning on April 22nd, she will hold an Herbal Intensive gardening and herb class. The class will walk you through the growing season step by step watching Mother Earth come alive.

All classes are scheduled with the moon’s cycles in mind for appropriate projects. There will be wild walks scheduled each month including plant identification of both medicinal and edible plants and how to harvest and use them. The workshops will be held once a month, April through September. The cost is $25.00 per workshop or $125.00 for all 6 workshops paid for before April 20th.

Reiki Training and Attunement Classes at McArthur Park

With Usui Reiki Master Teacher Joyce Valenzano

Reiki (Rei or ray is the higher power and Ki or key is life force energy).

Reiki aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation. Reiki is a techinique for channeling or transmitting subtle energies to your self and others through the hands into the subjects energy system. Reiki restore balance and vitality by relieving the body of blockages of physical and emotional stress. It gently opens the blocked meridians and Chakras and clears energies allowing one to feel relaxed and at peace. In these workshops you will learn the history and to how to give Reiki to yourself and others.

• Reiki One Training is for self empowerment.
  
• Reiki Two is to learn symbols for emotional clearing, and long distance healing.
  
• Reiki Three is for the Master symbol to enable you to attune your self
  
• Reiki Three Master Teacher Training is to learn attunements. Reiki master teacher training must be Reiki trained in all three attunements and must participate in additional training.
