Starting in the 2004 Season, McArthur Park will open our Park and it's camping facilities to families and individuals for special events, weekend retreats, nature walks and wilderness weddings. Because of the natural habitat and secluded location of this park, you'll get a trully back-to-nature experience at McArthur Park. The Park is not open to the general public, but made available only when advanced arragements are made with our park coordinator.
The park offers rustic camping cottages, picnic areas, camping sites, bathroom facilities and the unique hand-built covered bridge, that leads to the miles of natural walking and hiking trails. There are free wildwalks daily at 3:00pm (call for group reservations).
Families get to revel in the best the Adirondack has to offer in a truly rustic outdoor camping experience with the use of:
- A Tepee Village with two tepees and an authentic totem pole.
- Wooded campsites with stone fireplaces and picnic tables.
- Rustic cabins with ADA compliant facilities big enough to accommodate families of eight.
- Common rest rooms and hot showers

- Cleared nature trails with waterfalls and roaring brook.
- Handcrafted covered bridge.
- Outdoor camper and tent Facilities
- Picnic tables

What makes this park so unique?
The park is not open to the public, and will only allow access by advance arrangements. In order to maintain the "Back-to-nature" feel of this park, we have only created a limited amount of camping spaces, and left the majority of the 50-acre property undisturbed.
- Try your hand in fishing and fly-fishing in our stocked creek for no extra charge.

- Play family games such as volleyball
- Walk along our bubbling creek & the waterfall featured in the Disney production of "Billy Bathgate".
- Enjoy the miles of natural hiking and walking trails.

- For those families visiting as part of our "Gone Fishing" experience, you can receive a video keepsake as a remembrance of their weekend at McArthur Park.
